How to Make your own website for free [ For beginners ]

As a beginner even I struggled when I didn't have any knowledge regarding how to setup a website or how to have a domain of my own. So the thought just struck my mind, that why I shouldn't help all those people who are struggling with the same problem. I browse a lot among various forums, and one common thing you find in many such forums is that you find a bunch of people who are addicted to forum and, even they want a forum website of their own. Not only them many guys who browse over the internet, they have it in their hearts, " Even I want to own a website and may be I can get popular". Well as far as it concerns me, I find it a bit funny, but I shouldn't be. Well I guess that's the so called 'HUMAN NATURE'.

Well enough of this discussion. Coming to the point. To all beginners: guys its not that difficult to own a website even if you don't have any knowledge.

The only disadvantage will you will highly dependent on many factors. But I guess that can be compromised. Isn't it so?

Well to make a website first of all you should have a domain. The domain is nothing but the last part of any website is called a domain. For example .com, .net, .org, .in, .ru, etc. So get one name for your website.

You can buy a domain anywhere. But since here we are talking about creating it for FREE, so get a free domain. There are two methods:

• One is you straight away go to any web hosting website and register and they give a sub-domain. For example you must have seen few websites named in this format: www.<YourSiteName>.<SomeNameAgain>.com , etc. when that <SomeNameAgain>.com is added at the end, it is called Sub-Domain. So actually you will own a Sub-Domain for your self and can start building your website.
• Second Method is to straight away own free domain. one the most popular free domain is .tk. And I am not really sure but have heard as a part of Word Of Mouth that another free domain .free might be coming soon. Any to get the .tk domain, all you do is, just go to http://dot.tk and register an account for yourself.

So assuming that many will go for the second one. So now you own a Domain which will looking like this www.<YourWebsiteName>.tk . Congrats, you had your first step done.

But this isn't enough. Because now if anyone visits your website, he/she will only get to a white blank page.

Now, coming to second step. Now you should host your website and domain. Here again, since we are talking about FREE WEBSITE, so we won't consider paid hosting. So just go to any free webhosting provider and register yourself, an account. I don't know many, but will tell two, which I personally used.

1. 000webhosting.com

2. heliohost.org

Folks, remember that I am not recommending this, since I don't have much knowledge regarding how the free service provider serve you. I used these two and I wasn't disappointed, so gave these two names.

So moving forward, after registering, the main step comes. You should have script to build your website. And also go for cpanel Hosting. The two names given by me above give free cpnael hosting. But itsn't necessary if you don't have any knowledge regarding how to use it. But I'll tell you how to use it as well. But first I would suppose, you don't know anything and don't want to use it. And straight away you want your website. Well folks, even that's possible. Just log in to your web host account, many webhosts provide ready made templates. Template is nothing but what the website looks like or its design. So choose a template and apply it.

Now another important step comes, you should point your domain to the DNS of your webhosting service providers one. Don't worry, your webhost will notify you regarding this in confiramtion mail, that you get. So now go to www.dot.tk , log in and choose your domain and modify it. Now choose custom dns and write the dns of you provider's over there. Thats it. Everything's done. go to your website, you will see your website. For making changes to your website, log into the dashboard of your website and make all modifications you want.

And now for those who don't want any of those templates and want another one. Well guys you find many of these free scripts just download one. And now enter you webhosting account and open cPanel and you will see a File Manager. just open it and upload your script to the folder thats named as "public_html". And install your script. Information regarding installing will be present along with the script. Read it and do it. So enjoy. What you just did was that you own a website of your own. Congrats.

Last but not least, once you have a good number of pages on your website and some 50 to 100 good original articles, apply for Google Adsense. Well, by this point after using dashboard for some time you will have some knowledge regarding how to put up ads. Many say that its not possible to get adsense account with .tk domain. But don't worry, you will get. It has been tested by many. I guess it goes like this - Google sees how unique and original your website is.
